My puppy is so cute

He really brings me joy

Everything he touches turns into a toy

We run and play and chase all day

He always tries to get his way

He likes to chew on anything new

A ball, a bone or even my tennis shoe

A puppies love just grows and grows

Sometimes he’s naughty and has no clue

But I don’t tell mom for if she new

She scold this little puppy of mine

I know he would just look down and whine

He’s just too cute even though sometimes he’s bad

But he makes me happy when I’m sometimes sad

He truly is my best friend

He will be my companion to the very end

But fast and strong he runs with free will

His coat is gray with spots of black

But if felt in danger he will attack

He is beauty and strength that might be extinct

God put him on earth to run wild and free

Friend or Foe

A fish of gold it may be,

But it does not seem like a fortune to me.

He swims all around his bowl all day

A cute little critter that loves to play

Here comes kitty straight away

Looking curiously as if to say

Why do you swim back and forth all day?

I love to swim round and round

And every few moments a new friend is found

They give me food from the top of the bowl

I swim, swim around and swallow it whole

I have a pretty good life and so I’ve been told

Would you be my friend may I be so bold

Since I love the water and you really don’t

I think both of us could be friends and I promise I won’t

Splash you with water to scare you away

As long as you promise I will not be your buffet
